About ClydeLink

Linking Your Journey

A ferry has operated between Renfrew and Yoker for over five centuries. The existing service is one of the oldest and most popular ferry services helping over 150,000 happy customers across the Clyde every year.

The existing ferries the Renfrew Rose and the Yoker swan travel the 200 metres between graded slipways at Renfrew on the south bank and Yoker on the north. As the crossing is so short the ferry can act on an on demand basis as the crew can see when customers are waiting on the other side.

The Renfrew ferry point is a traditional bus terminus while the Yoker point is a short walk from Glasgow's Dumbarton Road, with its regular bus Services, and a 15minutes walk from Yoker Railway Station.

SPT will stop servicing the Renfrew to Yoker route on 31st March 2011.

Our Mission

Now that Clydelink have taken over the ferry route from SPT our mission is simple to provide a service that otherwise would not be available.

With all the great things to do in Glasgow, Clydelink aims to offer you a reliable service to many of these destinations from both sides of the river. We are currently in the process of reviewing a service from Braehead and the upcoming New Transport Museum at the waterfront.

Get back to us with all your feedback if you thing you would be interested in these services.

Our Customer Commitment

We have recieved alot of feedback throughout the initial trails and first days of operation on different aspects of the service. We will look into each of these comments individually and act on them where possible.
