Welcome to Clydelink ferries. Our custom built vessels may soon be a regular sight on the upper stretches of the River Clyde. Our fast ferries could be joining your journey very shortly.

The Renfrew Ferry has operated for over 100 years providing regular reliable transport to both sides of the river. As well as Renfrew and Yoker our new custom built craft will be able to service Clydebank College, Braehead, SECC, Pacific Quay/Science Centre and the Broomielaw.

Statement

CEO of Clydelink Mark Aikman said: "We have enjoyed several successful trials on the route to date using our purpose built vessels. Following final modifications to our state of the art vessel we plan to conduct our final trials this Friday. A formal proposal has been submitted to SPT for consideration, and pending the outcome of SPTs considerations Clydelink are well placed to offer a seamless transition between the existing service. We want to assure the public that we are ready to operate on the route as soon as we achieve approval."

	Clydelink have signed a contract with the Scottish firm Silvers Marine to deliver a new fast passenger catamaran for its River Clyde services. The vessel should be completed by August 2010.
